Golf Stick

Getting started in golf begins with one essential step: choosing the right set of golf clubs.
Golf clubs are the most important equipment on the course.
The differences in club design — particularly in loft angles and functions — can significantly affect your shot accuracy and overall performance.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The most commonly used wood is the driver (also known as the 1-wood), typically used for tee shots. Other fairway woods include the 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9-woods. Higher-lofted woods such as the 7 and 9 are especially helpful for female golfers or beginners, as they are easier to launch than lower-lofted options. Woods are generally the longest clubs in a golfer's bag and feature large, rounded clubheads. They are primarily designed to maximize distance, especially off the tee. To generate greater clubhead speed and distance, players aim for a wider swing arc and a more forceful impact.

It's worth noting that the United States Golf Association (USGA) regulates the coefficient of restitution (COR) for clubfaces, which must not exceed 0.83 for tournament play, to ensure fairness and prevent excessive distance.

Hybrids (Rescue Clubs)
Hybrids, also known as utility clubs, are a cross between woods and irons. They combine the distance and forgiveness of woods with the precision of irons. Hybrids have become increasingly popular as replacements for long irons (such as the 3- or 4-iron), which are more difficult to hit consistently. Their design typically features a compact head with a low center of gravity, making it easier to launch the ball high with improved accuracy and control.

Irons
Irons are categorized into long, mid, and short irons. Long irons usually include the 3- and 4-iron, mid-irons range from the 5- to 7-iron, and short irons include the 8-, 9-, and sometimes a 10-iron. Long irons are less common today, often replaced by hybrids due to their difficulty in achieving height and their tendency to produce slices, especially for amateur players. However, they can still be useful in windy conditions, as their lower loft produces a more penetrating trajectory.
