Uneven Bars

A unique event in women's gymnastics, it consists of two sets of bars, one high and one low, with an adjustable distance between them. The low bar is 130-160 cm high, and the high bar is 190-240 cm high. The bars are oval, with a long diameter of 5 cm and a short diameter of 4 cm.

They are made of fiberglass with a wooden top, providing excellent elasticity and durability. The rules specify requirements for the combination of different levels of difficulty within a routine, the number of transitions between the low and high bars, and the difficulty of aerial moves and turns.

Balance Beam

The balance beam is 5 meters long and 0.1 meters wide. The height can be raised or lowered as needed. The official competition height is 1.2 meters. There is a time limit for the balance beam, and strict regulations apply to the difficulty of routines and aerial sequences.

Floor Exercises

This event is shared by both men and women. The floor area is 12 x 12 square meters. The carpet is covered with sponge blocks, making it a different kind of flooring. Unlike standard flooring, the floor exercise surface offers excellent elasticity and cushioning, making it easy for athletes to perform challenging jumps and tricks.

Floor exercises involve somersaults and acrobatic tricks performed to a cappella music. Strict venue and time constraints apply, requiring athletes to complete their movements within 70 to 90 seconds. There are also strict limits on the difficulty of skill sequences and the connections between them.
