Hockey Stick
A hockey stick is typically made from high-strength engineering plastic or wood. The head of the stick is firm yet slightly flexible, designed to handle the fast pace and physicality of the game. According to official regulations, only the flat side of the stick may be used to strike the ball; the other side, which is curved, is not allowed for ball contact. The maximum allowable weight for a hockey stick is 737 grams, and players are free to choose a stick that suits their style, provided it does not exceed a length of 1 meter. Additionally, the stick, including any external wrapping, must be able to pass through a ring with an internal diameter of 5.10 cm for compliance checks.

Player Attire and Equipment
Outfield players are prohibited from wearing spiked shoes or any accessories that may pose a risk to others. Shin guards are mandatory for all players to ensure safety during gameplay.

Goalkeeper Equipment
Goalkeepers must wear comprehensive protective gear, including a helmet, leg guards, kickers, chest and arm protectors, and gloves. Their jersey must differ in color from both teams to ensure clear identification on the field. Except during penalty strokes (when defending is not involved), goalkeepers are required to wear a protective helmet that offers full coverage and solid face protection. The Rules Committee strongly recommends helmets that cover the entire head and secure full facial protection.

Only goalkeepers may wear specific protective equipment such as chest guards, leg guards, kickers, and gloves, as well as padding for the thighs, upper arms, and elbows. These must not have hard edges or protrusions. Leg guards may not exceed 300 mm in width; gloves must not exceed 228 mm in width and 355 mm in length. No attachments are allowed that could keep the stick connected to the glove without being held.

No additional gear or clothing is permitted if it artificially enlarges the body or protective coverage beyond regulation standards.
