Fitness Resistance Bands

These five selected movements target major muscle groups for a scientifically structured training plan:

1. Seated Shoulder Press (Sculpts Shoulder Definition)

• Target Muscles: Deltoids, Trapezius, Triceps

• Key Points: Sit on a chair or floor with feet anchored to the band. Hold the band ends with hands, elbows bent at 90° at shoulder height. Push upward until arms are nearly straight (without locking elbows). Hold for 1 second at peak contraction before lowering slowly.

• Pro Tip: Avoid shrugging shoulders; retract shoulder blades to ensure shoulders lead the movement

2. Resistance Band Face Pull (Corrects rounded shoulders and hunched posture)

• Target Muscles: Posterior deltoids, trapezius, rhomboids

• Key Points: Secure band at eye level; grip ends shoulder-width apart; engage core; pull toward face (eyes or forehead), elbows flared 90°; hold peak contraction for 1-2 seconds

• Benefits: Ideal for sedentary individuals to improve posture and prevent shoulder injuries

3. Single-Arm Chest Press (Build Firm Chest Contour)

• Training Value: Provides sustained chest muscle stimulation beyond dumbbells while enhancing unilateral control

• Key Points: Secure resistance band across upper back; stand with feet staggered for stability; push single arm forward horizontally, avoiding body rotation or sway

• Progression: Adjust to incline or decline angles to target different chest muscle regions

4. Glute Bridge Fly (Lift Buttocks & Slim Thighs)

• Movement Combination: Lie supine with resistance band looped above knees; feet flat on floor, knees bent at 90°; engage glutes to lift hips while resisting band tension to abduct knees

• Dual Benefits: Activates glutes + sculpts inner thighs-ideal for women

5. Side Walking (Targets Gluteus Medius)

• Athlete's Secret: Sun Yingsha's signature warm-up move

• Key Execution: Loop resistance band above knees; perform sideways walking in slight squat position; keep toes and knees aligned per step with controlled movement

• Benefits: Enhances hip stability, corrects bowlegs and pelvic tilt
