Agility Ladder Drill
Single-Leg Slide
A single-leg slide involves moving in and out of the ladder with only one foot, while the other foot follows along the side of the ladder.
Keep your arms at a 90-degree angle by your sides and swing naturally.
Two-Foot Mix
Alternate your feet in and out of each square, continuing to move forward.
This is essentially a modified and enhanced version of the single-leg slide.
Keep your arms at a 90-degree angle by your sides and swing naturally.
River Dance
Step your right (inside) foot into a square.
Then, step your left foot behind your right foot to the other side of the ladder, then step out with your right (inside) foot.
Now your left foot becomes the (inside) foot.
Repeat this cycle.
Keep your arms at a 90-degree angle by your sides and swing naturally.
Forward and Backward Step
Start at the back of the ladder.
Step one foot into a square, then step both feet to the front of the ladder.
Step onto the next square with your other foot, then step back to the back of the ladder.
[Repeat this cycle.] Keep your arms at a 90-degree angle at your sides and swing naturally.
It's important to warm up beforehand and practice when you're in a good mood.
Each session should last 10 to 20 minutes.
In addition to agility ladder exercises, you can also incorporate skipping rope, which is beneficial for improving coordination and footwork agility.
