Basic Procedure:
When a foul occurs, the player involved calls out "Foul!"
Play stops immediately, and all players remain in their current positions.
Both sides calmly state the facts; if necessary, nearby teammates may be asked to serve as witnesses.
If agreement is reached (no dispute): Proceed according to the agreed-upon outcome (e.g., the offense returns to their position before the catch, or possession is turned over to the defense).
If there is a disagreement (contest): Check back - return to the last successful pass before the dispute occurred, and the original disc holder resumes play. This is called the "Continuation Rule," which ensures that neither side gains an advantage from the dispute.
