Indoor Field Hockey Ball

Field hockey is a fast-paced, competitive team sport played on a rectangular grass or artificial turf field. Players use a curved stick, known as a hockey stick, to maneuver a hard ball with the aim of scoring goals by striking it into the opposing team's net. Fighting for the ball

1. The game should be resumed through a fight for the ball in any of the following situations: the game ball must be replaced during the game; both sides commit fouls at the same time; in the absence of fouls, the game is suspended due to injury or other reasons.

2. Fighting for the ball method: The referee determines the location of the fight for the ball, but the location of the fight for the ball must not be located in the area 14.63 meters from the end line: each side sends a player to fight for the ball, and the two players stand face to face with the right side of their bodies facing their own end line; the ball is placed on the ground between the two players; the two players first tap the ground on the right side of the ball with their sticks, and then tap the opponent's stick with the front of the stick above the ball. After alternating three times, the game state is entered when any one of them touches the ball; before the ball is touched, the other players should be 5 meters away from the ball.

The Olympic hockey competition has 12 men's and 12 women's teams participating.
