Blue Table Tennis Bat

The ping pong paddle, also known as a table tennis racket or bat, is the essential equipment used in the sport of table tennis. It typically consists of three main components: the blade, the rubber, and the sponge. Each of these parts contributes to the paddle's performance in terms of speed, spin, and control.

Maintenance

The maintenance of table tennis rackets can be simply summarized in three sentences: prevent the bottom plate from moisture, prevent the rubber from aging, and prevent falling when used. The specific method is: after using the racket, wipe the stains on the rubber surface with a special sponge, and stick a special table tennis anti-rubber protective film after the water is dry. The positive rubber must be stored after the leather surface is dry. When storing the racket, it should be placed in a ventilated and dry place, away from heat sources, avoid exposure to sunlight, and do not pile heavy objects on the racket.

1. Avoid heat. The sponge and rubber of the table tennis racket are prone to aging after being heated, and the viscosity and elasticity are reduced, commonly known as "dead". The board is also prone to deformation after being heated, affecting the accuracy of hitting the ball. At the same time, avoid contact between sponge and rubber with gasoline. Once contact with gasoline, rubber products will deform and deteriorate. This should be paid special attention to. Because the sponge is an expanding body, it should not be over-pulled or over-pressed during use. When playing in a relatively low temperature place, pay attention to proper heat preservation. The bottom temperature will affect the elasticity of the sponge. For those who use single rubber and sponge boards, when changing the rubber, use a fire-baked electric iron to fully dissolve the glue between the rubber and the sponge to prevent damage to the sponge due to changing the rubber. Glue can make the sponge foam and increase elasticity, but when sticking it to the bottom plate, use non-toxic special glue, which can protect both the sponge and the bottom plate.

2. Prevent rubbing, collision, and squeezing by abnormal external forces. If you hit the ball with the correct action, the racket will not hit the table. When the racket is not in use, it is best to put it in a special racket cover, and put a wooden or plastic flat plate in the racket cover to minimize the impact of external forces on the racket.
