Carbon racket
At the 2002 Shanghai Exhibition, various types of "carbon" rackets competed with each other, and it can be said that the concept of "carbon" rackets has been developed to the extreme. The traditional "carbon" racket should be a racket made of carbon fiber cloth woven vertically and horizontally as the carbon layer. Usually, each bundle of 3,000 carbon fibers is called 3K woven carbon fiber cloth. According to the weaving density per square centimeter, it can be divided into: 5 bundles, 6 bundles, 7 bundles, 8 bundles, etc. The thickness of the single layer is about 0.25-0.29mm. The greater the density, the thicker the thickness. Each bundle containing 1,000 carbon fibers is called 1K. Its weaving density will greatly exceed 3K carbon fiber cloth, but its thickness is only about 0.15-0.2mm. Due to the complex process, the price of 1K carbon fiber cloth is almost three times that of 3K carbon fiber cloth. Perhaps because of the cost-effectiveness, most manufacturers use 3K carbon fiber cloth to make carbon rackets. This kind of carbon fiber racket has elasticity in both vertical and horizontal directions because its fibers have elasticity in both vertical and horizontal directions. This elasticity direction complements the fiber direction of the wood layer of the racket, so its elasticity performance has obvious fast characteristics. This is the standard of carbon fiber rackets in common knowledge. Among the athletes who have won the world championship, Poland's Gruba and Croatia's Primoraz used a carbon racket with two layers of this woven carbon cloth as a sandwich.
