Custom mouthguards offer superior fit, stability, comfort, and protection. When worn, they ensure maximum contact between the upper and lower teeth, reducing the risk of fractures. Color preferences can also be incorporated during production, combining safety with style.

Is a sports mouthguard a one-time purchase that lasts forever?
No!

Wearing a sports mouthguard is not a permanent solution. It must be cleaned regularly and kept away from heat or direct sunlight, which can cause deformation. Frequent use can wear it down, diminishing its protective function-so it needs to be replaced periodically.

For children, whose oral structures are still developing, changes in jaw shape may cause the mouthguard to no longer fit properly, requiring regular replacement.

It's generally recommended to replace a mouthguard at least every six months. For users who train frequently or are in a growth phase, every three months may be more appropriate.

Does a sports mouthguard affect oral health and hygiene?
First, the materials used must be food-grade, non-toxic, and non-irritating.

Second, the mouthguard should be thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Toothpaste and a toothbrush may be used, but avoid corrosive cleaners. Disinfection methods such as boiling water, alcohol, or sunlight should also be avoided. Store it in a designated case to prevent warping or pressure damage.
