Outdoor Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport played with a frisbee, incorporating elements of rugby, soccer, and basketball. It is currently the most popular and watched of all frisbee competitions. Since 2001, Ultimate Frisbee has been an official World Game event, played in a 7-on-7 mixed-gender format, and was once named by The New York Times as the fastest-growing sport in the world.

Ultimate Frisbee matches are played on a rectangular field with an end zone at each end. Each team scores by catching the frisbee in the opponent's end zone. The player with the frisbee cannot run with it, but can throw it in any direction to any teammate. Failure to catch the frisbee (dropping the frisbee) or exceeding the time limit results in a turnover. The opposing team gains possession and attempts to score in the opposite end zone. Any intentional physical contact is a foul. Ultimate Frisbee strives for fairness and equality through mutual respect, featuring self-judgment, non-contact gameplay, inclusivity, safety, and interactivity.
