PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Target muscles of the leg press

The leg press machine mainly exercises the lower limb muscles, especially:

1. Quadriceps: The muscles on the front of the thigh, which give you strong and powerful legs.

2. Gluteus maximus: Shapes a full buttocks and improves the buttocks line.

3. Hamstrings: The muscles on the back of the thigh help balance the leg strength.

4. Calf muscles: Assist in force and enhance the stability of the lower limbs.

Standard movements of the leg press machine

1. Starting position: Sit on the leg press machine with your back close to the cushion, your feet shoulder-width apart on the pedals, and your knees slightly bent.

2. Movement process: Hold the handles with both hands, tighten your core, and push the pedals with your feet until your legs are almost straight (but don't lock your knees).

3. Peak contraction: Stay at the highest point for 1-2 seconds and feel the contraction of the leg muscles.

4. Slowly lower: Control the speed and slowly return the pedals to the starting position to maintain leg tension.

Points to note

01: Keep your waist and hips close to the seat, keep your core tight, and do not move your pelvis when lowering

02: If you want to train your hips, use your heels more, not the forefoot

03: Open your toes and knees outward, and do not fully straighten your legs when kicking

04: Inhale to lower, exhale to push up

Tips

Warm up fully before training to activate the lower limb muscles.

Remember to stretch after training to relax your leg muscles and avoid stiffness.

Combined with other lower limb training movements (such as squats, lunges, etc.) to comprehensively improve leg strength.
