(3) Hitting the ball simultaneously

① If two or more players of the same team touch the ball at the same time, it is counted as two or more hits (excluding blocking).

② After hitting the ball simultaneously on the net, the ball falls into the court and the game continues. The winning team can hit the ball three times.

③ After hitting the ball simultaneously on the net, if the ball falls outside the court of area A, the ball is judged to be out of bounds by team B.

④ If the ball hits the marker pole at the same time, it is judged to be out of bounds for both teams and the serve is restarted.

⑤ If hitting the ball simultaneously on the net causes a holding foul, it is judged to be a foul for both teams and the serve is restarted.

The first referee shall make a penalty for hitting the ball simultaneously on the net.

Offensive hitting refers to all direct hitting of the ball to the opponent, except for serving and blocking. Offensive hitting fouls mainly include hitting fouls over the net, offensive hitting fouls by back-row players, and hitting fouls on serve.

Hitting over the net

Hitting the ball in the opponent's court is a hitting foul over the net.

Methods for judging hitting fouls over the net:

(1) The first referee shall judge the hitting foul over the net.

(2) The first referee shall grasp the vertical plane of the net to determine whether the hitting point is over the net.

(3) The hitting point of the player shall be used as the basis for judging whether the hitting is over the net, and the position of the ball shall only be used as an auxiliary condition for judgment.

(4) Hitting over the net does not only refer to the spiking action, but also refers to all technical actions that directly hit the ball to the opponent. For example, the second pass over the net double lob, the reaching over the net hitting action, etc., are all over the net hitting fouls.
