III. Alternating Foot Jumps

1. Movement Name: Alternating Foot Jumps (Bicycle Jumps)

2. Movement Description: Hold the rope with both hands and swing it forward once. Lift your legs one after the other to jump over the rope. Perform continuous alternating single-leg jumps over the rope-one swing followed by one jump-four times on each side to complete the alternating foot jumps.

3. Grading Requirements: Complete one continuous eight-beat cycle according to the movement description.

4. Teaching Tips:

a. Begin with unassisted practice: separate hand movements (swinging the rope) from leg movements (lifting the legs), then progress to one-handed rope swinging combined with single-leg jumps.

b. When performing the alternating foot jump, keep both wrists relaxed and swing the rope naturally and smoothly. Ensure the rhythm between hands and feet is synchronized-one swing, one jump; one swing, one leg lift.

c. When lifting the legs, keep the ankle and knee joints relaxed, control the height, and land on the balls of the feet with a springy motion.

d. Maintain an upright posture, look straight ahead, and keep a smile on your face.

IV. Jumping Jacks

1. Exercise Name: Jumping Jacks

2. Description: Hold the rope with both hands and swing it forward. When the rope passes your feet and is in the air, jump your feet apart with knees slightly bent. As the rope is about to hit the ground, jump your feet together to pass under the rope. Perform one movement per beat to complete the jumping jack.

3. Grading Requirements: Perform the movement continuously for eight beats as described.

4. Teaching Tips:

a. Begin with unassisted practice: swing the rope with both hands while opening and closing your legs. Then progress to swinging the rope with one hand while jumping with both feet.

b. When performing jumping jacks, keep your wrists relaxed and swing the rope naturally and smoothly. Ensure the rhythm of your hands and feet matches-one swing, one jump; one open, one close.

c. When performing the jump squats, keep the ankles and knees relaxed, control the rhythm and timing, and ensure the balls of the feet make contact with the ground in a springy manner.

d. Maintain an upright posture, look straight ahead, and keep a smile on your face.
