Position
It is dangerous to be too close to the handrail or too far away from the handrail.
If you are too close, you may hit your hand or step on the starting edge of the conveyor belt.
If you are too far away, you may fall down.
Therefore, it is relatively safe to run in the middle of the conveyor belt, about one-half to two-thirds of the arm's distance from the handrail.
It is relatively easy to adjust the speed by raising your hand at this distance.
