Taekwondo Competition Uniform
01 Change wet clothes promptly

In Taekwondo, the uniform itself is designed to dry quickly, so parents do not need to layer sweaters or other garments underneath the uniform, as this can actually increase the risk of catching a cold and may hinder the child's movement. During indoor Taekwondo training, parents only need to prepare a lightweight autumn-weight shirt for the child, which provides both warmth and sweat absorption. Additionally, prepare a dry undershirt and a warm jacket so that the child can change immediately after training to prevent catching a cold.

03 Do not be late

In winter, hands and feet are less flexible, so coaches will lead the children through warm-up exercises to loosen up all joints. This prevents injuries during movement and ensures effective training. If you are late and skip this step, it increases the risk of injury for the child.

Is it necessary to wear a long-sleeved, long-legged dobok for Taekwondo training in the summer?

Is it necessary to wear a long-sleeved, long-legged dobok for Taekwondo training in the summer?

Since it is a sport, there are naturally requirements for clothing. You can't possibly wear jeans and leather shoes for exercise.

Not only is this inconvenient for exercise, but it could also lead to injuries during the process.

Why do you need to wear a dobok when practising Taekwondo?

Taekwondo is a martial art originating from Korea, and wearing a dobok is part of Taekwondo training.

Respect for tradition:

When entering the dojang, you must wear a dobok-this is a rule of Taekwondo. Wearing a dobok is a sign of respect and continuity with tradition.

Unified appearance:

Wearing a dobok unifies the appearance of trainees, making training more orderly and consistent.

Enhanced focus:

Uniform attire helps students focus more intently on training, thereby improving training effectiveness.
